In August 2012 we had the privilege to train two separate groups in How KidZ L.E.A.R.N. Best and 8 Wonderful Ways KidZ Learn. The one was a group of very special pre-school teachers who are doing a wonderful job with their kids, despite difficult circumstances. The other group is a bunch of enthusiastic Sunday school teachers at NG Kerk Strubenvale in Springs.
May you be encouraged by their feedback and perhaps consider hosting a KidZ At Heart Training for the children’s workers in your church and community ….
The training changed the way I think about children. It has encouraged me to teach even better and to help kids to accept Christ early in their lives.
Doreen Makhubo, pre-school teacher
I was reminded to teach children about the Lord and his Word every day, and I have the opportunity to do so!

The training was great – simple, easy to understand and fun.
Marinda du Toit, Springs
I learned that there are different intelligences and you need to incorporate these different ways of learning in your lessons – so that the children can learn more effectively. There are so many different ways to make a lesson fun.
Tanja van Niekerk, Springs
I love the story telling and that we get to move around! I enjoyed the 8 Wonderful ways kids learn – I will definitely use this in lessons at my centre.
Rochelle Alexander, pre-school teacher
I enjoyed the practical lessons that were a part of the training the whole time. It was very interactive.
Jeanine Coetser, Springs
I have once again realised that our lessons should be on the children’s level and that we have to love the children!
Roelien Roets, Springs
I enjoyed every moment of the training. The lessons should involve the kids and they should experience the lesson, not just sit still and listen to it.
Karney van Tonder, Springs
I learned that you don’t need a bunch of expensive props to teach a lesson. You can use what you have and make the lesson very enjoyable.
Hannetjie Botha, Springs
The training reminded me to focus on the job at hand – to teach kids about Christ.
Rina van Staden
I learned that everyone learns in different ways – and that applies to kids as well. We need to keep that in mind when teaching them.
Miliza Naudé, Springs
I enjoyed the fact that we, as teachers, participated in the lessons. I also realised again that everything I teach the children is important.
Tembakazi Tinzi, pre-school teacher
The singing and movement was lots of fun!
Constance Mudau, pre-school teacher
I learned that children learn in different ways and we must also remember to teach effectively to those quiet children in our class.
Thembi Luthuli, pre-school teacher
I enjoyed all the activities. It taught me that I have an important job – working with children everyday – and I realised that I can improve even more in my teaching.
Georgina Mlilo, pre-school teacher
The general atmosphere was stunning! I was reminded again that each child is unique and each one learns in a different way.
Suretha du Toit, Creative World, Melville
I had the most fun when we had to plan our own lesson and to present it to the group. I also learned how to see things from a child’s perspective and to be creative when teaching a lesson to them.
Amanda Muller, Springs
