Celebrate Recovery International Trainers Jana O’Guin, Lisa Merry and Ashley Carter were on hand at a Celebrate Recovery Southern Africa training event – held at Eikenhof LifeChange Centre on the 20th and 21st of June 2012. This was both an opportunity for those who are new to the programme to learn more, and for others, who have already started Celebrate Recovery, to evaluate their programme.
May you be encouraged by these testimonies of God at work in the lives of those who attended the training…
Celebrate Recovery has changed my life. I have learned to live my life according to the 12 steps. My journey on Celebrate Recovery has been fulfilling and very rewarding and I will recommend it to anybody with a hurt, hang-up or habit.

It was great for me to be empowered, equipped and healed emotionally. Celebrate Recovery was made for me. Learnt lot. God Bless.
I think the training was amazing. It definitely did stir up hearts and cause excitement. The testimonies made me super excited for the work that has, and will be done. Great job to Jana, Lisa and Ashley, yes indeed; there is no pain that God doesn’t use.
Thank you for sharing your life stories with us. Much as this ministry is necessary to ensure the new life found in Christ and provides hope – I felt challenged to ask myself ’what my story is?’ and take stock of my life. I can’t wait to get this ministry off the ground in my church and community. I also love it that the programme seemed to indicate the reliance on the Holy Spirit to facilitate healing and dependence on God.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered programme designed to help those struggling with hurts, hang-ups and all kinds of habits.
Have you considered starting a Celebrate Recovery Programme in your church? You’ll see lives changed in dramatic ways, hopeless marriages restored and people set free as they allow Jesus to be Lord in every area of their lives.
