St Columbus Presbyterian Church in Parkview, Johannesburg was one of the recipients of bags of clothing collected by clothing4children (in partnership with turn the tide 4 children).
This church was able to pass on the blessing and in turn provide much needed clothing to three other organizations – these include the Sinenhlanhla Support Group (an HIV/AIDS support group in Soweto), Kid’s Haven in Benoni and The Key School – a school for specialized education.
In the words of Susan Daly, Fundraising Coordinator at Kid’s Haven:
Thank you so much for thinking of us and providing such a substantial donation towards our work. We are a shelter and children’s home for up to 200 children – with a key focus on education, as well as providing parcels of food and clothing to support families and other community projects. These bags of clothing will help us so much.
The Eyethu Disabled Children at the Vukayibambe Primary School and children at the Mokorotlo Primary School receive the clothing donated to them by the Sinenhlanhla Support Group (which is supported by St Columbus Presbyterian Church).
What a privilege to able to partner with those who have a heart to bless others!
